Shkinder Maxim’s Concept Phone: Transformer phone and then some more

Remember Softbank’s “almost Transformer” mobile phone? Here now comes a phone that is really akin to the Transformers. It doesn’t turn into a robot but this one can transform into many different things: mobile phone, camera, multimedia player, projector, 3D scanning. and holographic imaging. But hey, don’t get too excited because this is just a concept by designer Shkinder Maxim.

Looks like there would be a lot of flipping and swiveling. I am still not sure how Mr. Maxim would do the 3D scanning and holographic imaging but since this Transformer phone would also be capable of simple image projection, then it would also be easy. For now, let’s hope that a phone maker company gets to notice and plan to commercialize the Transformer phone, because really, the concept phone has got a lot of potential to make it big.
