Dishwasher with arms: Readybot, please wash the Dishes!

With all the robotic gadgets coming out, I am honestly excited and scared at the same time. There’s the robo-phone, Justine the Robot Coffeemaker, and now a robot that does dirty dishes. I’m excited and proud because I live in such a modern world and I am lucky to be able to witness all these innovations. And scared because, it’s not really far before we deal with robots…better yet, real androids. You know, something like Robin William’s Bicentennial Man who could overtake us just like in the movies.

Anyway, the Readybot can be a big help for now. Cleaning the kitchen can be a real drag and maids can get lazy at times so a robot will be a good alternative. The Readybot is basically a dishwasher with arms. It does everything you hate doing: picks up plates, cups, and bowls; dumps food; loads the dishwasher, and scrubs and scrapes. Pretty neat!
