Well if you thought giving company to your kids and stealing almost every job in the market were the only domains the robots had entered so far, then you are highly mistaken. It can dance for you, sing for you (the band of robots), shop for you, chat with you, but how about the fact that it can also roller-skate with you?
Sounds crazy, but it’s true. That’s apparently one of the most badass robot video that I’ve ever seen. The robot can of course walk like an insect when its in walk mode, but when instructed the hot little thing can actually roller-skate like there is no tomorrow.
The Roller-Walker Robot developed by Hirose-Fukushima Robotics Lab is a total must-see, and maybe a must-have too if you’re around the world collecting the best of them. So the next time your kids complain of not having enough fun or someone to go roller-skating with them, you know what you ought to do.(NR)
