Well for those who did not understand the real meaning of the word there is an alternative; the designer of this peculiar thing, Ross Lovegrove, has created these lighting systems which are different, beautiful, and at the same time energy saving. These look like flowers which grasp the beauty of the sun light and transform this sophisticated energy to the streets and to us mortal humans. Well there is a beauty in applied arts; I hope a part of human art compliments every form of science. The solar panels are mounted on top of these branches which imitate the trees in the pathway. They are going to be on the pathway to the museum of Applied Arts and Contemporary art in Vienna, to be called tree-line Boulevard. It is an impersonation of the art of nature, perhaps it serves some good as it is solar power. But we have high hopes for the bioengineering and art, next stop hybrid tree lights which also absorb CO2.
