Female + Robot = Fembot

In case you remember the movie Metropolis, I think I would be happier with the past view of how robots should look like… or for that matter even Austin Powers was great. But look at what Toyota got; looks like a Prius got the right kind of driver for it. If you look at it, the fat base on this lady, it looks like a big suction machine. At last, technology is able to merge the woman and the vacuum cleaner in one complete package. I personally prefer the Fembots and stripper poles from Austin Powers. It has no legs or if that fat base is a big skirt, well baby it’s the 21st century. At least the hairstyle is good, and that’s probably the only department in which this thing is better than Asimo, the Honda android.
It was always Toyota’s style to make something economically purposeful. This robot is designed to be a greeter and guide for exhibitions and seminars. Hope they have voice recognition for restroom and visitors’ nature’s calls; coz if it does not answer, the aggravated visitor might respond with a liquid which might lead to short circuit. Toyota please, add the vacuum cleaner in the base.
