Imagine you’re getting really late for school and you look out the window only to see the roads jam-packed. Well, I know that’s not tough to imagine. But what if you could just forget all that madness and take off on your personal jetpack to school?
Trust me! Someday everyone´s going to do it. What with Jetpack International’s claims that they are soon going to launch a jetpack with five gallon capacity. That´s enough fuel to fly for up to 19 minutes at speeds of up to 83 m.p.h., or a max range of 27 miles. Wait! Don’t scoff at it yet! Jetpack claims its unbelievable technology will be out by December.
It’s great if it works, but nevertheless it’s going to be far beyond our reach. Priced at $200,000, I personally don’t think its going to catch up so soon. Most folks would just get a Ferrari if they had that kind of money.
Well if they do manage to subsidize it, reaching late might never be an excuse you could make to your girlfriend again. Or worse still, she might just fly back from her long vacation at Hawaii and be at your doorstep, when you least expect it (or least want it ;-p).
Whether this is for real or just another hair-raising gadget announcement, we will just have to wait and watch. So make sure you don’t believe, the next time someone says “It’s impossible”, coz if all goes in favor of Jetpack International, nothing really will be. (NiRa)
